Personality:

She is kind and quite patient. She is almost always friendly, and it is impossible to bully, provoke or anger her, even for Daeva.

However, she changes 180 degrees when somebody threatens her friends, especially the Mother. She is not offensively threatening but is always ready to sacrifice herself to protect her allies.

She is fiercely loyal, and her loyalty to Iset is beyond imagination. She is a friend everybody would die to have. When she gives her word, she will always deliver or die trying. There is a reason she has her signature angel wings, after all.

Loves:

She adores Iset the Mother. For Seliné, Iset is a like a real mother, guide, teacher and more. Iset is her beacon, her source of infinite inspiration. When it is asked to describes her respect and love to the Mother, she either just smiles, or simply say: "You wouldn't understand." She loves animals, nature, art, modern and classic architecture, and the science of physics and of course, medicine, pharmaceuticals, physiology, anatomy, psychiatry and so on. She enjoys healing, repairing and fixing things up. She also loves singing. Her biggest inspiration is Florance Nightingle. Many thought that Seliné’s nickname, Nightingale, comes from her amazingly beautiful voice. The truth is, however, that she is a keen admirer of a great historic figure, Florence Nightingale, who lived during the 19th Century and considered to be the founding mother of the nursing profession. She admires "The Crimson Angels" alliance of neo-humans, and also sympathetical towards the "Sky Legion" and "Gaze of Iset."

Hates:

She is unexpectedly hateful of corporations, and she is also always hyper-reactive toward Iset's enemies. Another unexpected aspect of her, given her pacifist nature, is her determined protective attitude towards her friends. She can easily switch off aggressive moods without losing her calm and elegant air.

She also hates uncompassionate people. For her, even the enemies deserve some kind of respect and fair treatment. Therefore, winning the conflict and neutralizing the threat is enough for her. No torment, no torture. Never.

Lastly, she hates all offensive usage of nuclear energy, and bio-chemical weapons.

Her primary profession is being a supermedic. She is an expert doctor, practitioner, and healer. She is capable of helping humans, eugenics, cybernetics, synths, Neo-humans, and even Infested organisms. There are many supermedics among the ranks of Neo-humans, but only Seliné (other than Iset) can understand the physiology and anatomy of the Infested and heal them. The Goddess specifically trained her for this. Unlike many other Neo-humans created by Iset, Seliné never left her service or was sent away by the Goddess. She is quite a special daughter for the Mother.

Seliné, when she was a human, never saw the days of her adulthood. For unknown reasons, she was marked for assassination by corporations, and Iset saved her from certain death. For Seliné, Iset is not only a redeemer but quite literally her Mother in many aspects. Iset transcended her into a Neo-human body, "raised" her, and protected her during the Interhuman Wars and beyond. Iset did not dictate how she should live and always respected Seliné's decisions. So it was her decision to become a supermedic, and Seliné designed her own face of her free will.

Seliné's two centuries-long wait for Iset's return is possibly the most touching. All alone, she endured for 200 years on Osiris, Iset's mothership. She couldn't get in touch with anybody for fear of endangering the mission and giving away the Mother's location. The moment Iset awoke, she was there to greet the Mother by bringing Osiris back to her. So, apart from devotion, there is no apparent motivation or agenda for Seliné.

There is another vital detail hidden in this story. Apart from Iset, Seliné is the only person who can command Osiris. Even Phoenix cannot pilot the mothership without the interface and help of Sothis, Phoenix's super AI companion.
