Personality:

Daeva can be quite cruel and dark towards her enemies, but that does not mean she is pure evil. On the contrary, like all the characters in Angelic, there is no pure black and white, and Daeva is no exception. She is an evil character in the eyes of the corporations, yet she is a trustworthy ally to many Neo-humans, especially Archangels.

Daeva is a masterful Atronic and Aisar; she can unleash massive destruction and easily manipulate humans, synths, and even Neo-humans. She loves to play with her prey, mock people, and make them angry. After provoking them to an intellectual duel, she loves to smash them with her unmatched intelligence and wisdom. She loves manipulating sexual feelings and desires, especially for humans (gender agnostic), and can read people's minds easily. Therefore she can torment or control them.

To her, you are either an ally or an enemy. Everything that falls between is not worthy of her attention.

Loves:

She adores intellectual games. She never loses a mental duel and likes playing with her mark to make it fun. Interestingly, she also has an appreciation of ancient human civilizations. She constantly seeks more power, glory, and fame. Taking advantage of the unaware and manipulating humans is kind of a hobby to her. Exploring the unknown, learning, leading, and commanding are other joys of her life.

She admires the Prodigies Neo-human alliance, but it is unclear if she is an official member. Like every other aspect of the Prodigies, their members are also a mystery. She openly supports the Phantom Crows. She occasionally mentions another unknown Neo-human faction that is even more secretive than the Prodigies, which nobody knows of except a few. When asked if she is a member of that mysterious alliance, she just smiles.

Hates:

She despises most humans, and especially corporations. She loathes the weak, pacifists and extremely peaceful Neo-humans. She detests all religions, mystic beliefs, or teachings. Yet, you will never see her lose control. Even facing the things she hates the most, she always has the situation under control.

Daeva is the firstborn, the first Neo-human created by Iset the Mother 200 years ago. She was initially a prototype, but she kept advancing herself. She was born into the Interhuman War and witnessed the unspeakable cruelty corporations unleashed on the Neo-humans. For this, she carries eternal hate against the old ones (humans). Interestingly, there is a stark difference between modern humans and ancient civilizations (at least for her), and she admires the ancient civilizations, especially the ancient era, till the late antiquity period.

Daeva's name comes from the Avestan language and means a particular type of supernatural entity. This name is present in many ancient languages, from old Iranian to Indian. In some mythologies, daevas are divinities that promote chaos and disorder. For corporations, that is the only meaning they perceive when they hear the name Daeva. The damage she has inflicted so far on the corporations is massive. Even today, she is doing her best to hurt human interests in space. Recently she also took an interest in the Infested organisms, and for a while, she was busy "taming" Infested creatures.

Together Daeva and Medusa attacked the original Nexus space station back in 2527 and blew it up. That was a significant blow to human presence in space and is considered the triggering event that initiated the Interhuman War. Because of this, she is still one of the most hated figures in history, at least according to the official history books controlled by the Supreme Cartel and the corporations. The history books do not mention Medusa because nobody saw her. Unlike Daeva, she didn’t leave a trace except for some horrifically corrupted and twisted corpses, dead after suffering immense pain. According to the Neo-human version of the history, however, during the infamous destruction of Nexus, Medusa was indeed there helping Daeva.

Despite being long-term allies and friends, Daeva and Medusa separated right after Iset awakened. We do not know why, and they refuse to provide details.

For some time, Daeva tried to reach Iset's Angel Core which was located secretly on the Kepler 1649-c exoplanet. Phoenix and his crew, Aurora and Xander, were there by pure accident, and Daeva killed them all. She thought they were there to steal or salvage Iset's Core or were trying to stop Daeva. They were humans, after all, and for her, regardless of their intentions, they deserved to die. After that incident, Iset awoke and forced Daeva to join her team for an unknown objective. Even though she still has an agenda of her own, Daeva is now a part of Iset’s mothership Osiris and a temporary ally of Phoenix. That does not mean she will blindly follow Phoenix's lead, though.
